Should Undone Work Be Shown During the Sprint Review?

No. Work that doesn’t meet the DoD should not be presented during the Sprint Review, where stakeholders must be confident in the quality. If feedback on undone work is desired, conclude the Sprint Review first, then gather input with that context.

Metaphor

Bringing undone work to a Sprint Review is like turning in a term paper with “TBD” still in the conclusion. The professor can’t grade what isn’t there.

Similarly, stakeholders need fully Done work to provide meaningful inspection and feedback.
