What Is “Undone” Work?
“Undone” work is any work on the Increment that has not yet met the quality standards outlined in the DoD. It is not considered complete and cannot be treated as part of a Done Increment.
Metaphor
“Undone” work is like half-baked bread pulled from the oven too soon. It looks like bread, but it’s not edible and can’t be served.
Similarly, until work meets the Definition of Done, it can’t be part of the usable Increment.
